The Fall Armstrong Dance Team is a club at Armstrong High School that performs at various school and community events including football games, soccer games, pep-fests, dance showcases and parades. The team performs pom, kick and hip-hop routines that are choreographed by both coaches and dancers. The season is open to dancers of all levels and abilities who are 9 through 12 graders attending Armstrong High School. Interested in trying out?Learn how to join the program here.

Who to contact when: It is expected that dancers always communicate to the coaches first, no matter the issue. If a parent wishes to be involved, the dancer must always be present in the discussion.
Email Coach Kate regarding practice absences and team apparel.
Text Coach Kate with last-minute changes or emergencies.
Email the Booster Club about fundraising and dancer fees.
Direct all other questions, comments or concerns regarding the season (injuries, missed performances, ideas, etc.) via email to Coach Kate.
Parent GroupMe Account: Coaches communicate most information via email. However, a parent GroupMe has been created for last-minute information or quick questions from parents. A new parent GroupMe has been created and sent out to families.
Fall Handbook: By being part of the fall dance team, you and your parents agree to follow the expectations and requirements outlined in the Fall Handbook. If you have any questions, please reach out to fall coaches.
Lettering requirements: For dancers to letter, they must satisfy all of the following requirements:
Must be their second year on the team (unless they are a senior)
Must perform four times
Must have strong attendance and exhibit dedication, leadership and positivity
Must complete 10 hours of volunteer work
If you have questions about lettering, please reach out to the fall coaches. Coaches will provide a tracking link for volunteer hours and send to dancers. Hours that count must be completed between May 1 and October 8, 2023.
