About Armstrong Dance Team - Winter Season
Armstrong Winter Dance team is a competitive MSHSL sport at Armstrong High School.
Winter dance team members utilize technique, endurance, and performance ability in two routines: high kick and jazz. Winter dance team is comprised of students in grades 7-8 attending Plymouth or Sandburg Middle Schools and students in grades 9-12 attending Armstrong High School. Winter dance season begins in October and ends in early February.
Practice Times:
Both JV and Varsity will practice Monday-Friday at 3:45-6:00 pm at Armstrong High School.

Who to contact when:
Dancer lead communication is encouraged to help develop self-advocacy skills in a safe environment.
Parent GroupMe Account:
Coaches communicate most information via email. However, a parent GroupMe has been created for last-minute information or quick questions from parents. A new parent GroupMe has been created and sent out to families.
Winter Handbook:
By being part of the winter dance team, you and your parents agree to follow the expectations and requirements outlined in the Winter Handbook. If you have any questions, please reach out to winter coaches.
Lettering requirements:
For dancers to letter, they must complete a full season on the varsity team.

- Email [email protected] regarding practice absences and team apparel.
- A dancer Group Me has been created. This is where all of our quick communication will happen as a team.
- Text or call Coach Rachel with emergencies or time-sensitive messages. All other communication shall be conducted through email & GroupMe.
- Email the Booster Club about fundraising.
